Security & Data Protection – QuickMove Technologies

QuickMove’s enterprise security overview covering infrastructure, application controls, data protection, access management, monitoring, backup, and incident response.

Security is core to QuickMove’s enterprise SaaS commitment. Our security approach protects customer business data across SaaS platforms, mobile apps, portals, integrations, and support operations without exposing sensitive internal infrastructure details.

1. Security Overview

QuickMove supports logistics companies handling sensitive operational data, including shipment records, warehouse inventory, transport movements, customer information, vendor information, agent details, billing records, invoices, documents, and field activity. Our security program focuses on confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and customer trust.

2. Scope of This Policy

Infrastructure Security

Secured cloud or dedicated infrastructure, restricted administrative access, firewall controls, server hardening practices, and controlled production operations.

Application Security

Authentication, role-based access control, company/branch/module-level permissions, controlled workflows, session management, and secure release practices.

Data Protection

Restricted data access, secure transmission where applicable, backup practices, database access controls, logging, monitoring, and operational safeguards.

Incident Readiness

Processes to identify, assess, contain, investigate, resolve, and communicate security or service incidents where required.

2. Infrastructure Security

  • QuickMove applications are hosted on secured cloud or dedicated infrastructure based on customer requirements and deployment model.
  • Administrative access is restricted to authorized personnel.
  • Network-level controls, firewalls, secure configuration, and controlled system access are applied where applicable.
  • Production environments are managed with operational controls to reduce unauthorized access and configuration risk.

3. Application Security

  • Role-based access control is used to manage user permissions.
  • Application workflows support company, branch, department, and module-level authorization where applicable.
  • Security controls may include authentication, session management, input validation, and controlled release processes.
  • Customer administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate access to their users.

4. Data Protection

  • Customer data access is limited based on business need and authorized support requirements.
  • QuickMove applies technical and organizational controls to protect operational data.
  • Backup procedures are maintained based on deployment model and customer agreement.
  • Secure transmission and system access controls are applied where applicable.

5. Access Control

Access is managed using the principle of least privilege. Internal access to customer environments is limited to authorized personnel for implementation, support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security activities.

6. Monitoring and Logging

QuickMove may maintain system logs, application logs, access logs, error logs, and operational logs for troubleshooting, security review, audit support, performance monitoring, incident investigation, and service reliability.

7. Backup and Recovery

Backup frequency, retention period, recovery point objective, and recovery time objective vary based on customer plan, hosting model, and contract. Customers requiring specific recovery commitments should define them contractually.

8. Incident Response

QuickMove follows an incident response approach to identify, assess, contain, investigate, and resolve security or service incidents. Where legally or contractually required, affected customers will be notified of confirmed incidents affecting their data.

9. Employee and Internal Controls

  • Confidentiality expectations for employees and authorized personnel.
  • Restricted production access based on role and business requirement.
  • Support access controls and internal escalation procedures.
  • Controlled handling of customer information.

10. Compliance Alignment

QuickMove aligns with generally accepted SaaS security and data protection practices. Formal certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 may be pursued based on business requirements and customer expectations.
